About Me

Being able to lead others in worship has been a long time dream and passion of mine. I started leading worship as a junior in high school, and ever since then it has slowly been consuming more and more of my life. Music has always been my medium for connecting with God and really feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit at work. Now one of the biggest rewards in my life is to be able to help others engage God at a similar level to myself. As musicians we are not there to put on a show, but to praise God to the full extent of our abilities! My heart nearly bursts with Joy when I am able to look out into a crowd and see and feel God in the room, and coming out of peoples’ mouths, hearts and minds. We are blessed people, and should be so stoked on the fact that our God allows us to praise him in a way that is so much fun and so fulfilling!

Sorry about that rant, but as you can probably tell this is something that means a lot to me and that I think about a lot. For a little background on myself, I grew up in the Bay Area and then moved to San Diego for college. I am currently a student at UCSD, and believe that coming to SD was one of the best decisions of my life. At UCSD, I was able to get plugged into a campus ministry called Upper Room, which has allowed me to express my musical desires and to connect with the body of Christ. I also love to play volleyball and spend as much time at the beach or with friends as possible. One of my favorite parts about college is that people expect you to hang out with friends, so it is always encouraged!

As a fellow follower of Christ, I would love to encourage you in these ways: find a community of people that will help you grow, dive into the scripture, discover your yearning for genuine worship and find as many ways as possible to show others the love of Christ!! If you do these things, I know your life will be radically changed; mine has!

God Bless and good luck on your Journey!
