Small Group Ministries

Vision

Our vision for Torrey Pines Christian Church is a growth oriented community of faith with multiple styles of worship, small group ministries, and transformational outreach programs.

Small Group Steering Team

To develop and facilitate a process to expand Torrey Pines Christian Church’s small group ministry and to encourage and support those existing small groups.

Purpose

Small groups are designed to connect people to Jesus Christ and to one another in authentic community that will promote life-transformation through relationships. As a result members will find a place to know and be known, love and be loved, serve and be served as we live out Christ in our lives.

Goals

To provide opportunities for members to share the joys and frustrations of daily life in an atmosphere of mutual support and care.
To provide opportunities for study to increase knowledge of the Christian life and service.
To provide opportunities for members to discover and learn to utilize their gifts.
To provide opportunities to experience the power of God in our lives by praying for one another.
To experience nurture and support in order to express our faith in Christ to those beyond the church.
