Christ Caring for People Through People

This is what Stephen Ministry is, and it is once again being offered at Torrey Pines Christian Church.

Do you or someone you know have a need for support from a trained lay person, a Stephen Minister, while experiencing trauma such as illness of self or a loved one, divorce, death or some other difficult challenge? Although not "professional" caregivers, several men and women from Torrey Pines have gone through 50 hours of specialized training in order to help people get through difficult times such as these and more.

Stephen Ministers fill the gap for people who know they need help with a problem or situation, but do not want to necessarily depend on the minister.
