The Discovery Class is an Adult class dedicated to "The Study of The Books of The Bible". The class, as a whole, picks a Book of The Bible they want to study. We read a few verses containing a thought. Then we try to put into a couple of words what the passage means to us. We try to understand what the passage meant to the people was written to, and what is means to us in the present age.

 

 
Then we consult the commentaries and discover what the Professionals have to say about the passage just read. Sometimes they have very little to say and sometimes the have a lot to say. We discuss what the Professionals have to say, and then go the next passage.

 

 
We take a few Sundays for the short books and months for the longer books. We use different class members as leaders to give us a different outlook on the book we are studying.
